Summary

Location: Pavement in front of the Scots Church, Collins St This is one of several public artworks commissioned for the Another View walking trail. The seven brass figures are an interpretation of the Karak Goruk (Seven Sisters) daughters of Bunjil, the Eagle man, and Ganawarra, the Black Swan woman. The inlayed figures represent the seven colours of the rainbow and are placed in juxtaposition to the Georges’ Fountain, near the corner of Russell St.
