Summary

Location: 21 NewQuay Promenade, Docklands The sculpture is a multiple of three-dimensional figures over a space of roughly 50 square metres. The figures are up to five metres in height. Callum Morton's inspiration was existing monuments scattered in the Melbourne CBD, along with the Hoddle grid. Those monuments are covered with a "concrete carpet", with the carpet peeled back to reveal bursts of colour and landscaping. 'Monument Park' is a sculpture park located on NewQuay Promenade and an example of a collaborative project between MAB Corporation, artist Callum Morton, McBride Charles Ryan Architects, Oculus Landscape Architects, City of Melbourne and Places Victoria.
