obverse: (typed) The Equestrian Track, Alexandra Avenue / The very popular equestrian tan track is bordered on both sides by a beautiful avenue of trees, lawns and gardens throughout its one and a half mile course / which skirts the River Yarra, Botanic Gardens, Shrine of Remembrance, and passes through the King's Domain and Alexandra Avenue. The track / is freely availed of by amateur equestrians.
