Summary

Artist Statement Hi, my name's Kenny Pittock. I'm a 29-year-old artist in Melbourne. My work mostly combines drawing, painting and ceramics to respond to contemporary Australian iconography, often using a little bit of humour and sometimes using words, play and wordplay. I'm delighted to have been commissioned to make these seven ceramic objects specifically to accompany this very ins-pie-ering Four'N'Twenty sign from the early 1970s. The seven ceramic objects presented here are all directly from my childhood, but can also still be found in most Melbourne milkbars today. Kenny Pittock, 2017
