Built by Thomas Julian & Co., Temple of the Winds is a circular masonry structure, with 10 columns supporting a domed roof; it rests on rough, dressed bluestone footings. This rotunda is one of the oldest structures in the Fitzroy Gardens and is very similar the Temple of the Winds erected by William Guilfoyle in the Royal Botanic Gardens and dedicated to Governor Latrobe.
