Summary

Location: cnr Clifford Terrace and Gower St, Kensington Created by artist Julie Gorman, this sculpture depicts faces in profile taken from artworks from across the globe and assembled around a steel pole. The work, suggesting a kind of globe, responds to the idea of people from all over the world living together in one shared space. Each face is painted a different colour to create a visual effect. Passers-by can clearly see each profile standing out distinctly from the others. The work was created as part of a series of artworks located in the Kensington development.
