Summary

This photograph by Harry Fatouros was taken at the corner of Bourke and Swanston Streets in Melbourne CBD on the day of the first Vietnam moratorium protest, 8 May 1970. The protests were the largest public demonstrations in Australia’s history at the time. At the time, Fatouros was a student at Monash University. The images were taken with a Pentax Spotmatic camera on Kodak TriX film.
