Summary

Location: Parliament Reserve, cnr Spring and Albert Sts Sited in Parliament Gardens, his Coles Fountain is a striking counterpoint to its historical garden setting. Its stainless-steel tubing forms a geometrical frame some three metres high, from which water cascades into a shallow pool below. To ‘enter’ the C-shaped fountain is to be virtually encircled by a curtain of water. It is set on finished bluestone paving, which reflects the geometry of the fountain.
