Summary

A Martin & Pleasance doctor’s travelling homeopathic case containing twenty-five glass vials with cork stoppers, a book, and two small cardboard sleeves containing litmus papers. This case would have been used during the late 1800s. Initially located at 85 Collins Street East, the homeopathic dispensary Martin & Pleasance later moved to 180 Collins Street. The building still stands but is now 178 Collins Street.
