Summary

This postcard from the 1960s captures Princes Bridge, looking towards the south bank from the north bank. Across the bridge on the south bank is the Vacuum Oil Building (1960), alongside the lower APM Building (Australian Paper Manufacturers) (1961) and Snowden Gardens prior to the development of the Victorian Arts Centre. The APM Building was removed when the precinct was redeveloped for the Arts Centre and South Gate, however the Vacuum Oil Building remains.
