Summary

This handsome wooden tray was presented to Mr Charles Pridmore (1867-1957) on the occasion of his retirement from Melbourne City Council in 1916. Mr Pridmore worked for the Council as head plumber.

This tray was kindly donated to the City Collection by Anthony Lewis on behalf of the descendants of Charles Pridmore. Also donated to the collection was a substantial French clock gifted to Mr Pridmore on the occasion of his marriage in 1897.
